Business analysis CVs are read for evidence that you turned a messy problem into something a delivery team could build — and that the thing that shipped actually changed a number. "Gathered requirements" is a task; "cut the scope of a £1.2 million change by 18% after process mapping" is a result.
These business analyst resume templates keep a conservative corporate hierarchy, with room for methods (BPMN, user stories, workshops) and for the systems you have actually analysed.
8 layouts that fit how business analyst hiring actually reads a CV. Open a card to preview, or start in the builder — the same content reflows if you switch template later.

Layout, not adjectives
The right template for this field is the one that puts the evidence a business analyst screen checks first in a document a parser can still read. Style is secondary.
Match the market
What belongs on the page
Process map, user stories, as-is/to-be, business case. Name what you produced, then what changed after it was used.
ERP, CRM, claims, billing — the domain nouns in the advert. "Enterprise systems" will not match those searches.
Who you facilitated and who signed off. A BA who has briefed a steering group is a different hire from one who has only written tickets.
Many BA roles now expect it. "Writes SQL for data profiling" is useful; inflating it is easy to catch in a take-home.
From template to file
BA hiring is rarely a place to experiment with a creative CV.
Match the order the advert uses. Agile BA vacancies want user stories high; operational roles want process mapping high.
Cycle time, defect rate, cost avoided, adoption. If you cannot, compress the role.
Then send. Link a portfolio of anonymised artefacts only if the process asks for one.
Questions
Usually no on the CV itself. If a process asks for examples, link two anonymised artefacts and describe the constraint, not the client's confidential process.
List the ones you can facilitate unaided and any the advert names. A catalogue of twenty facilitation labels reads as a course list.
Yes in emphasis. Data analyst pages on this site lead with SQL and BI platforms; these BA templates lead with requirements, process and change outcomes. A hybrid vacancy can draw from both lists.
In a short certifications block, with the level and year. They are useful filters in some markets and ignored in others — match the advert.
