DevOps and SRE hiring screens on platforms and on operating metrics: deployment frequency, recovery time, availability, cloud spend. A CV that only lists tools — Docker, Terraform, Jenkins — without saying what those tools changed is easy to skip.
These DevOps engineer resume templates give cloud, IaC, CI/CD and observability a structured stack section, and leave experience bullets for the reliability and delivery numbers that distinguish the role from generic "IT operations".
8 layouts that fit how devops engineer hiring actually reads a CV. Open a card to preview, or start in the builder — the same content reflows if you switch template later.

Layout, not adjectives
The right template for this field is the one that puts the evidence a devops engineer screen checks first in a document a parser can still read. Style is secondary.
Match the market
What belongs on the page
AWS, GCP or Azure, plus Terraform, Pulumi or CloudFormation — the literals recruiters type. "Cloud infrastructure" will not match.
How often you shipped, how long recovery took, what availability you actually held. These are more persuasive than a tool list.
On-call, severity, what you changed afterwards. Hide confidential detail; keep the shape of the work.
Rightsizing, reserved capacity, spend reduction. Platform work that only talks about YAML is incomplete.
From template to file
Those templates already reserve a stack rail so the timeline can stay about outcomes.
EKS is not "managed Kubernetes". If the search is for the product, the paraphrase misses.
Availability, deploy cadence, recovery time or spend. One honest number beats five adjectives.
Open it and confirm the stack survived as text. Then send.
Questions
List what you operate unaided and what the advert names. A thirty-item dump of every YAML flavour you have opened reads as shallow.
Yes when the vacancy uses them as a filter — AWS, Azure and GCP searches are often literal. One line with the credential and year is enough.
Dev Terminal can work for engineering-heavy platform teams. Prefer Cloud DevOps or Quantum Technical for mixed SRE and operations hiring, which is usually read by managers as well as engineers.
State rotation, severity range and what you changed after: "primary on-call for four services, reduced Sev-1 volume from 7 to 2 per quarter". Skip customer names and internal incident IDs.
